Two emails with information have been received from S/M Alan Cox, Secretary No 4 Area, for those who will be attending the funeral of S/M Mick Arnold MBE ALVP on Friday 5th August.
Shipmates,
I have received the following additional information with regard to Mick’s funeral arrangements: The Crematorium Funeral Director has requested that all Standards attending be at the main entrance by 12.00 and the Guard of Honour be formed up latest by 12.15. The Ferndown Branch Vice Chairman S/m Ralph Dodds will act as Parade Marshal for the Guard of Honour.
Standard bearers are requested to advise the Ferndown Branch Secretary of their attendance.
The address of the Bournemouth Crematorium is given as, Strouden Avenue Bournemouth BH8 9HX

Further to my last (Just received) additional information.
‘Family flowers only please with donations to either of Ferndown & District RNA, The Not Forgotten Association or Ferndown Masonic Lodge No 7860 ref: Mick Arnold.
The Wake afterwards will be held at the Hamworthy Social Club on Magna Road, Canford Magna, Wimborne, BH21 3AP.
It would be a great help to the family if you could indicate to the Branch Secretary, rna.ferndownanddistrict@gmail.com if you hope to attend, either the funeral or the funeral and wake.’
