As requested by the Area President, Chairman, Deputy Chairman and all others, I formally wrote to Her Majesty our Patron expressing on behalf of No 4 Area of The Royal Naval Association (South West Flotilla), our collective sadness at the ‘Crossing of the bar’ of HRH The Prince Phillip, Duke of Edinburgh, and our condolences to herself and her family. This morning I received the attached message from Her Majesty Private Secretary.
