Shipmates, the message below was received rather late in the day for an event this coming week. At the recent Committee Meeting the matter was discussed and these events have been popular in the past. Another Open Day is to take place on 30th September and it was thought we could hopefully arrange transport so please keep this date in your diary and further details will be made known nearer the time.

Ahoy Shipmates,
Central Office are holding an ‘Open Day’ in Portsmouth on Friday 08 July from 1100 to 1400. Sadly we currently only have 6 Shipmates coming and due to lack of numbers we were thinking of cancelling. However, the General Secretary young Bill Oliphant is still extremely keen to proceed with the day. Please would you be kind enough to advertise to Shipmates who may wish to take part.
Shipmates should arrive in Portsmouth between 1030 and 1100 where they will be met by the Central Office Team at Trafalgar or Victory Gate and directed to Central Office / Victory Building. Once settled they will receive a cuppa and an RNA briefing from the General Secretary, followed by a sandwich lunch. Then it is off to the Jetty for a one hour deployment at sea on the ‘Harbour Tour’ complete with the odd ‘ToT’ or two! And a running commentary.
