Shipmates,
Just a couple of pointers for our December General Meeting. A warmer welcome than the November Meeting is expected as I will make sure the heating is on. Some Members who attended sat with their coats and gloves on. There were only 30 present so we couldn’t even generate enough heat to melt the ice in our drinks! Let’s hope the numbers are up for December 1st.
Due to Covid etc the usual Christmas Draw will not take place this year. However as I mentioned at the last meeting, an extended Bottle Draw will take place, made up entirely of the untouched stock from S/M Keith Tubbs’ drinks cabinet. Keith is happy that all proceeds go to Branch funds. As always your generosity will be welcomed.
