Shipmates,
Members of the Branch attended the Veterans Parade in Weymouth today.
Forming up by 10:45, divisions were brought to attention by the Parade Commander Mr Ken Chivers at 10:50 for a short service of remembrance after which divisions stepped off for the march along the promenade to Weymouth Pavilion where refreshments were available.
Spotted amongst those marching were S/M Ben Cartwright, carrying the branch Standard, S/M Pete Foster, S/M Steve Kershaw, S/M Dennis Matthews from Dorchester branch and yours truly PRO.
Also seen were members of the FAA Association along with contingents from various Veteran Associations across the South West.

PARADE ORDER OF MARCH
Division A – South Wales Police Band followed by the Royal Naval Association, Merchant Navy, Fleet Air Arm, Wrens, Auxiliary & Allied Standards, followed by the Marching contingents.
Division B – Wessex Military Band followed by the Army Association Standards and the Army Marching contingents.
Division C – Dolphin Marching Band followed by Campaigns Since World Ward II & RAFA Standards, RAFA Marching Contingent followed by The Royal British Legion Standards, followed by the RBL marching contingent.
Division D – South West Area Sea Cadet Band followed by Sea Cadets, Army Cadets, Air Cadets and Budmouth CCF Marching Contingents.
