Subject: Shipmate Ray Isted’s Funeral
Dear Shipmate/Friend
Shipmate Ray Isted’s funeral will take place at 1100 on Tuesday 11th October 2022 at Penmount Crematorium Truro Cornwall TR4 9AA, anyone wishing to pay their respects are welcome to attend, standards and full guard of honour will be required. Any other branch standards RNA or RBL would be most welcome, let’s give our dear shipmate Ray a good send off. The family have requested no flowers but donations to Macmillan on the day would be most welcome.
We are expecting at least 6 standards and a bugler RNA St Austell and the RBL St Austell Standards will lead, coffin bearers have been detailed from family and RNA.
There will be a wake at Mount Charles Social Club Clifden Rd St Austell PL25 4NX on completion of the service at Penmount, the family have also stated that the wearing of black clothing should not be compulsory.
