The branch has received thanks from Mick, following Karen’s funeral.

“On behalf of myself and family of Karen. I would like to thank Portland RNA for their support in the funeral of Karen. It was special to us to see her receive the send off she deserved. Although it was very emotional, it was also very proud for us all. The standard bearers and more so the pallbearers were excellent. It also gave me memories to look back on.
Thank you to all shipmates who attended the funeral, and also to those who have shown support over the past month or so.
I’m sorry I couldn’t attend last night’s meeting, but it’s all a bit too soon for me.
Rest assured I will be back shortly to support our Branch.
