Good afternoon Shipmates,
The funeral of S/M Rob Standley took place this afternoon at Weymouth Crematorium. Having spoken earlier to Rob’s daughter Karen I asked her if she would like the RNA to be involved and she said that would be welcome.
S/M Ben Cartwright carrying the Branch Standard with S/M Dave Thompson and myself as escorts led the hearse to the Chapel entrance where the Standard was dipped as the coffin was carried inside followed by family members.
Karen thanked us for our involvement.
