Shipmates,
The Branch had a stall at the Portland Town Council Fete on Saturday 28th July. After all the sunny weather we have had, the weather decided to break on Saturday. The RNA Pussers Rum gazebo was erected in what seemed like a Force 8 gale.
It was great to have so many helpers to set up and man the stall. Thanks to all who helped on the day. Due to the stormy weather the attendance numbers were down on last year but we still managed to raise some money for Branch Funds.
Let’s hope the weather is kinder to us this coming Saturday when we will man the stall again at Southwell Street Fayre.
