Celebrations to mark the 100th Anniversary of the Women’s Royal Naval Service
On 28th November 1917 His Majesty King George V approved the formation of the WRNS. Starting on 8th March 2017 with the opening of the exhibition “Women in the Royal Navy” at the Royal Navy Museum Portsmouth, there will be events to celebrate the centenary throughout 2017.
