I have the following quotes for four nights dinner, bed and breakfast:
Wednesday 6th to Sunday 10th October.
Esplanade Hotel, Scarborough.
£314 per person.
Thursday 7th to Monday 11th October,
Barrowfield Hotel, Newquay.
£284 per person.
Friday 8th to Tuesday 12th October.
Somerset Hotel, Llandudno.
£314 per person.
There is entertainment at each hotel each evening.
Up to six single rooms are available at £10.00 per person supplement. Sufficient doubles and twin rooms are available.
For a total number of 20-34 there is one free place, for 35-44 there are two free places, for 45-50, three free places.
As usual, I would divide the value of the free places between all of us. I would also divide the total cost of the single room supplements between all of us.
Please let me know if you are interested. If so, which hotel would you prefer. Majority decision is where we go.
I have to confirm the booking with a non-refundable deposit of £250.00, regardless of the number of people intending to go. I’ll need a non-refundable payment (amount depending on number interested but max £10.00 pp) and your firm commitment by the January meeting at the latest, if there is sufficient interest. Interim deposit of £30.00 pp would be required at the March meeting and the balance at the August meeting.
I believe Daish’s to be the best option due to their lower deposit payments, number of free places and low single supplement. Most coach companies charge at least £50.00 deposit at time of booking.
I would collect any amount you wish to pay at each meeting to spread the cost.
