Fundraising remains a priority, we have an ongoing budget deficit each year. In 2025 Branch Charity donations were in excess of £95k, with only £12.7k (13%) going to the RNA. Donations were made to the following:
so whilst Branches are free to decide where their funds go do please think carefully before throwing pebbles in the ocean, after all Charity begins at home. I have letters from the DNP and National Chairman on this subject which I am happy to share, the DNC (Chair of the FAC) has written a discussion paper on fund raising, it stretches to 17 pages… We still require donations for the Naval Service Memorial. Please also continue to encourage members to support the RNA lottery which currently provides us with £12k per year. |
