Shipmates,
The annual Service of Remembrance will take place on Sunday 8th November 2026 at 10:55, and this will be conducted by the Revd Helen Harrell. If not marching, muster at 10:30 for 10:55 start.
Prior to the service, a parade will leave the Drill Hall at Easton Lane departing at 10:20, and all are welcome to participate. 10:00 - Muster at Drill Hall for march to Cenotaph.
Parking
Parking is available at the Heights Hotel. A road closure will be in place on Easton Lane from the Portland Heights Hotel Roundabout to the Quarry & Sculpture Trust, Drill Hall, Easton Lane between 10:00 and 11:00.
American Memorial Service
A service will also take place at the American Memorial in Victoria Gardens, Fortuneswell at 12:30.
Wreaths
There will be an opportunity to lay wreaths at both services and this will be directed by Revd Helen Harrell. It is requested that individuals and organisations supply their own wreaths.
